In 1993, we invented our signature Fusion Floor® composite flooring for trailers. After selling millions of square feet of laminated oak floors and over 300,000 Fusion Floor kits, Havco Wood Products continues delivering long-lasting, durable and high-performance truck flooring. Manufacturing

Our assembly process has been perfected over four decades to ensure our floors meet the highest quality standards. We also have dedicated quality control departments at both plants that work around the clock to test bending, dry-shear and wet-shear strengths of floorboards.

The History of Havco

  1. 1978: Havco begins operations in Scott City, Missouri.
  2. 1979: Havco starts producing high-quality laminated oak flooring.
  3. 1990: Havco acquires a second factory in Vonore, Tennessee, becoming the largest trailer flooring company in North America.
  4. 1993: Havco starts research on composite-reinforced oak flooring.
  5. 1999: Havco obtains patents for composite flooring and its manufacturing method and builds a new factory in Scott City, Missouri.
  6. 2000: Havco installs the first mass-production line for manufacturing composite floors.
  7. 2005: Havco marks 1 million square feet of Fusion Floor delivered to trailer OEMs.
  8. 2007: Havco expands warehouse capacity in Vonore, Tennessee.
  9. 2011: Havco obtains a patent for hot melt polyurethane protective coatings.
  10. 2013: Havco introduces the Floor Shield protective topcoat.
  11. 2015: Havco introduces HD UnderCoat and HD TopCoat.
  12. 2020: Havco marks more than 300,000 Fusion Floors shipped to OEMs since 2000.
  13. 2023: Havco ships several thousand laminated oak floors with HD UnderCoat and HD TopCoat.
